Match 16 preview - RCB vs MI

RCB will take on MI in the second match of the day tonight at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. MI have lost all their four games so far while RCB lost their second game after wining their opening game against KKR. Both the teams have a weak bowling line up and will bank on their batting to see them through.

Once again, the burden rests on the shoulders of Gayle, De Villiers and Kohli. With the rest of the batting not firing and Mitchell Starc missing, the team lacks the balance and it will take a big knock from one of those three to give them a chance. The palyers brought in to fill the gaps which were evident last season, Dinesh Karthick and Darren Sammy haven't taken their chances so far. Chahal has been the lone shining star in the bowling department.

MI find themselves in familiar territory with four losses in their opening four matches. The  bowlers were left deflated after the smashing at the hands of the CSK batsmen. Pollard , Corey Anderson and Rohit Sharma has had two successes each so far and has helped them post decent totals. But the bowling have let them down big time, especially Malinga. MI also need to arrest the unwanted trend of batting collapses early on.
