Match 21 preview - DD vs MI

The clash between Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians at the Ferozshah Kotla stadium in Delhi, presents a chance for teams to make up for lost opportunities and move up the IPL table. DD had their mini revival of two victories, since snapping that 11 match unbeaten run, brought to an abrupt end by KKR. MI meanwhile got their first win of the tournament against RCB, and with their batting looking dangerous, will look to pile on more misery at home for Delhi.

Delhi Daredevils sit in fifth position in the IPL table, and have had decent outings so far. Their batsmen failing to capitalise on good starts, led to DD's downfall in the last match against KKR.Shreyas Iyer is looking good to match the pre-tournament promise and Yuvraj looks as if a big innings is due soon. Duminy and Angelo Mathews have contributed with bat and bowl, but needs to be more consistent. The spin duo of Thahir and Mishra have been bowling well and is Delhi's main weapon. Zaheer Khan is back from injury, but not sure whether he will get a look in just yet.

Mumbai Indians have decided to tackle their problems head on, batting with attacking intent in their last two matches to set up big totals. Corey Anderson however has been ruled out of the season which is a big blow for MI no doubt. They will miss his all round capabilities, especially with Pollard not bowling as much as before. However the West Indian has been devastating with the bat and so is the skipper Rohit Sharma. Harbhajan Singh has been the stand out bowler for MI with seven wickets and has chipped in with the bat as well.MI needs more contribution from the other players though if they have to continue their comeback effort.
