The double D's take on the double R's as Delhi host Rajasthan

Delhi Daredevils came agonizingly close to an upset win over CSK at Chennai the other night, with Albie Morkel's super effort going in vain. Duminy will do well to avoid the mistake of tinkering with the batting order as they come up against a spirited Rajasthan Royals side who got off to a winning start against a more fancied Kings XI Punjab side.

DD did well beyond expectations against CSK, especially the bowlers who restricted a strong batting line up to a score of 150 . Courter Nile was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, but the spinners Thahir and Mishra did well, especially curtailing the flow of runs. With Angelo Mathews available for this match, it will be interesting to see whether Duminy picks him considering the other three overseas players had a good outing. The Indian batsmen, especially Yuvraj will have to make useful contributions if DD are to end their 1o match winless streak in the IPL.

Rajasthan Royals showcased their exuberence in full in their victory over KXIP, with Faulkner once again shining with his all round ability. They unearthed another unknown talent in Deepak Hooda, who played a little cameo. Steve Smith looked in fine touch and will be looking to make a big score after missing out on a start. With a youthful bunch of players, the team looks in good spirits. If Watson is fit, Chris Morris could be unlucky to miss out after bowling superbly in the first match.
